CE stands for “Conformité Européenne”, which translates from French to English as “Conformity of Europe”. CE marking is a European Union safety directive, it is limited to the basic safety requirements that the product does not jeopardize the safety of human beings, animals, or goods rather than general quality requirements. The CE marking indicates that the product manufacturer or service provider has ensured that the product complies with the appropriate European Union directives and has completed the assessment procedures, and can be legally sold anywhere in the European Union and the European Economic Area. In a word, the “CE” mark is considered a passport for manufacturers to open and enter the European market.

The FCC, known as the Federal Communications Commission, was established in 1934 under the Communications Act and is an independent agency of the U.S. government, directly responsible to Congress. Many radio applications, communications products and digital products require FCC approval in order to enter the U.S. market. The FCC investigates and researches all phases of product safety in order to find the best way to solve problems, while the FCC also includes testing of radio devices, aeronautical devices, and so on.

RoHS is a mandatory standard developed by the European Union legislation, its full name is “Restriction of Hazardous Substances”. The standard was officially implemented on July 1, 2006, and is mainly used to regulate the material and process standards of electrical and electronic products to make them more conducive to human health and environmental protection. The Restriction of Hazardous Substances(RoHS) is a set of regulations controlling the use of hazardous substances such as lead, mercury, and cadmium in electrical and electronic equipment.The goal of RoHS is to reduce the potential environmental and health risks posed by the use of hazardous substances in the utilization, collection, treatment, and disposal of the growing volume of electrical and electronic waste.
